A message from Ashley:
What I love about this class is that, regardless of your goals or the location you’ve chosen, this class will give you practical, evidence-based tools and strategies. I see myself as more of a mentor or facilitator and love seeing the change in confidence and trust that develops as I work with folks.

Will I Learn how to have a Natural Birth?
Evidence Based Birth® believes that every person has their own unique path. Instead of focusing on medicated vs. unmedicated birth, we focus on giving you tools and helping you learn the evidence, so that you can be empowered to make your own decisions! We do have a strong emphasis on non-drug comfort measures, because they have no side effects and can be used by everyone, whether or not you plan to use medications.

By the end of this class my goal is for you to have the tools that you feel are the best fit for your birth experience. If you’re interested in a low-intervention, physiological birth, this class will help you give you relaxation and pain management tools as well as a solid understanding of when and how to use them. If an epidural or Cesarean Birth are part of your birth choice options, we’ll cover how you can be empowered during discussion related to both. Because birth can unfold in unpredictable ways we also discuss advocacy and resiliency in navigating unexpected challenges.
